About the Team:

In the AI and Analytics Service Platform we lead, design, build, and operate the bank's Machine Learning, Data Science and Analytics solutions. 

We're a friendly growing group of about 100 people with a huge passion for all things Data and AI. Role Responsibilities:

  • Works with stakeholders across the Group to ensure that platform-, BU- or Group-wide initiatives, including legal and regulatory requirements, are appropriately prioritised across necessary product backlogs, on behalf of the PO for the initiative.
  • Leads a team of Integrators to coordinate complex integration.
  • Establishes pivotal integration points across Platforms and effectively communicates these integration points to relevant stakeholders.
  • Works with backlog owners across the Group to understand progress against delivery timelines. 
  • Collaborates with Platform Leadership and Product Owners Team to plan and prioritise integration related tasks.
  • Proactively identifies critical risks to delivery and instigates recovery action with appropriate senior stakeholders.
  • Is a key escalation point to resolve blockers and works with platform leaders to resolve interlock challenges between platforms.
  • Manages suppliers (3rd Party), providing oversight and managing underperformance.
  • Leads complex and high-risk implementations requiring integration between multiple parties (internal/external) to ensure safe delivery.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience of delivering complex technology programmes technology.
  • Deep experience of using agile techniques to delivery technology change.
  • Clear and articulate communicator, with a proven track record of dealing with all levels in large blue chip  organisations.
  • Proven leader of large teams.
  • Able to identify future risk/dependencies in a changing environment and resolve.
  • Capable of negotiating/leading 3rd party supplier relationships.

Desirables:

  • Background in delivery of data/machine learning background.
  • Experience of Financial Services.
  • Experience of working with offshore centres.
