We’re looking for a highly motivated and experienced senior marketing professional to join our busy team as a Marketing Manager. The ideal candidate will have a background in B2B marketing and a strong understanding of the pensions industry or financial services market. The candidate will have responsibility for the planning and delivery of multi-channel marketing campaigns for our DCC market. We require someone with strategic thinking, strong stakeholder management skills, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key responsibilities:

  • Play a key role in the development and delivery of multi-channel marketing plans for our DCC market.
  • Ensure marketing plans are fully integrated across all marketing channels and delivered in support of business objectives.
  • Develop targeted, measurable campaigns using campaign automation to generate leads and nurture relationships.
  • Write engaging and informative communication material, including blogs, social media posts, industry award submissions, external and internal communications.
  • Be proficient at using Microsoft Dynamics CRM system to monitor lead generation.
  • Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders within the business area and the wider business.
  • Responsible for the planning and delivery of key events and online webinars.
  • Work with external organisations such as agencies, partners and suppliers.
  • Work closely with our PR, Design and Digital teams to ensure quality and purpose of communications are maximised effectively.
  • Produce regular performance reports, analysis and commentary on key metrics and KPIs, working with the team to make recommendations on how to enhance our approach and campaigns.
  • Ensure best practice processes and procedures being followed, including excellent planning, delivery and follow through of all campaigns and activities, and ensure reporting requirements are being met.
  • Work closely with marketing leadership team and the wider business to ensure that the flow of work is carefully managed and properly resourced to maintain the highest standards of work and service.
  • Build and maintain strong links with all business areas within the firm to promote, champion and help to deliver cross team/practice solutions.
  • Support the marketing leadership team in the development and preparation of the marketing plan and budget.
  • Conduct market and competitor research as required.
  • Potential people management responsibilities for one individual, including day-to-day line management and support as well as coaching and career development.
  • Work with compliance to ensure financial promotions are recorded in line with Financial Conduct Authority guidance, this includes producing a quarterly report.

Experience/Skills & Knowledge:

  • A qualification in Marketing or related discipline and / or at least 8 years’ experience in a Marketing role.
  • Proven experience of developing and delivering integrated marketing campaigns, ideally within a Financial Services environment.
  • Have a results driven, insight focused approach to campaigns.
  • Ability to drive thought leadership discussions.
  • Must have significant experience of copywriting and strong copyediting skills.
  • Capacity to work with cross functional teams and take overall responsibility for delivery of targets for multi-channel marketing plans
  • Able to deal with ambiguity and rapid change.
  • Experience of event/webinar planning and delivery.
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills, and ability to positively and sensitively work with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders with varying objectives and challenge when appropriate.
  • Experience of operating successfully in a previous role at a suitable level.
  • Ideally have a good understanding of the UK pensions industry.
  • Be a role model and support the development of others within the team.
