Job Summary:

You will be supporting the delivery of our Big 6 Objectives by working with our Senior Managers and Heads of Function to manage and maintain their risks and controls as well as learning more about how the Colleague Experience Team operates on a day to day basis.

An excellent opportunity to work with Risk and Control owners to understand processes, to test controls and to work with them to support them in strengthening these where required. In addition, you will be supporting Risk Oversight, reporting of Risk Incidents and Events, the production, development, and continuous improvement of regular Risk Reporting to Senior Management and Committees.

The Analyst main responsibilities will be:

  • Supporting First Line (1LOD) Oversight and maintenance of the Colleague Experience Team Risk Register in line with the Risk and Control Self-Assessment minimum standards.
  • Responsibility for GDPR compliance requirements including: Record of Processing Activity (ROPA), Information Asset Register (IAR) and Information Retention Schedules (IRS) as well as Data Protection Impact Analysis (DPIA).
  • Supporting Risk Manager with the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) Scenario Planning activities
  • Supporting the Operational Continuity in Resilience activities.
  • Supporting the Annual Colleague Screening process.
  • Supporting Business Continuity requirements for the team.
  • Managing the Senior Manager and Certification Regime (SMCR) Fit & Proper assessments.

Experience and skills required for our Analyst:

  • Natural curiosity and evidence of problem solving, analysing data and spotting patterns.
  • Proven analytical capability.
  • Proven Report writing skills.
  • Confident, methodical, with good organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate effectively across multiple stakeholders and cross functional teams.
  • Ability to work individually as well as part of a team and to manage and prioritise own workload basic knowledge in general process documentation.
  • Experience of working in financial services.
  • Knowledge of HR processes and SMCR desirable.
