As a Barclays Head of Financial Crime Exits, you’ll have a chance to join our team & lead service delivery for the Financial Crime Exits Management team (FCEMT), assisting with single business and cross-Business exit processes across the Barclays Group. This will include oversight of Financial Crime Exits carried out by FCEMT on behalf of other BUs, and helping with the coordination of multi-BU exits across the Barclays Group. Barclays is one of the world's largest and most respected financial institutions, established in 1690, with a legacy of success, quality, and innovation. We offer careers that provide endless opportunity – helping millions of individuals and businesses thrive and creating financial and digital solutions that the world now takes for granted.

At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home. We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, ‘anchor’, days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Please discuss the working pattern requirements for the role you are applying for with the hiring manager. Please note that as we continue to embed our hybrid working environment, we remain in a test and learn phase, which means that working arrangements may be subject to change on reasonable notice to ensure we meet the needs of our business.

What will you be doing?

•    Implementing a positive control culture with Operations teams
•    Overseeing deliveries designed to enhance & remediate the Operations control environment
•    Taking ownership of all FCEMT owned actions end-to-end to committed actions within committed timeframes
•    Representing FCEMT as the primary escalation point for control remediation & enhancement
•    Working across all relevant teams to continually assess and improve the control environment
•    Working with control partners to embed a culture of excellence into Operations

What we’re looking for:

•     Someone pragmatic, that possesses good judgment
•    Good organizational skills and ability to work to tight deadlines
•    Excellent level of communication and diplomacy
•    High energy, hands-on, results and goal-oriented person

Skills that will help you in the role:

•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•    Exceptional problem solving abilities
•    Will have previously worked in an environment that has enabled them to gain a broad knowledge of Financial Crime

Where will you be working?
